September & Cole's Wedding May 30, 2008

The day was filled with music and laughter and tears of joy. From the groom singing his original song to his bride, to the first dance as man and wife, you could definitely feel the love from this couple. The groom's mom even brought Sarah and I a beautiful photo album from Arizona to thank us for our efforts on their engagement photos last summer. After the ceremony, the bride and groom escorted Sarah and I to a park and the square where we were able to get some awesome photos. When we arrived at the reception, I was happy to see that the warm glow from the sunset was shining in to make the hall look like a dream. Thanks for a great day and hope you like my favorites from your big day!

Kristina's Maternity Session

I had the fun of photographing an expecting mother and her daughter for a Father's Day gift today. It was a real treat because not only is she the daughter of a friend, but she is also my daughter's boyfriend's oldest sister. Wow, what a mouthful. This is a surprise for Father's Day which always makes me feel great to think that on a special day someone will be receiving a gift of something I created. I just can't wait to photograph the baby when she enters the world!

Tabitha & Brian's Wedding May 25, 2008

After spending Saturday in downtown Springfield with a large wedding party, it was a nice change of pace to go to Nevada, MO and be a part of a small country church wedding with one attendant on each side. The reception was on the family farm and possessed the elegance of any big city reception I have attended. They enjoyed mouth watering smoked bar-b-que and beer on tap with plenty of southern style sides. Brian and Tabitha wanted to keep it simple so they could enjoy the day to the fullest, and that is just what they did. Have a great honeymoon and hope you enjoy your photos!

Jasmine & Nick's Wedding May 24, 2008

What a perfect group of people to spend a day with. Jasmine and Nick were so nice and had such a great family....and big! We spent about 45 minutes on posed family pics and then went downtown with the wedding party. We did our trademark walking down the street shot and spent some time on the square taking photos of the wedding party. As you can see in the photo of Nick with the girls, he now holds the record for how many bridesmaids the groom can hug at the same time! The reception was elegant and the perfect way to celebrate the union of this wonderful couple in love. Thanks for an awesome day!

Kathryn & Ryan's Engagement Session

These two were great sports this morning. Even though the wind was blowing the wrong way on every shot, they managed to smile at the camera at just the right moment so when the wind cooperated, I could get exactly what I wanted. We had a fun time downtown and even at Jordan Valley Park despite the hard wind and lawn service men. You two are a beautiful couple and I can't wait to show you the rest!

Kelly & Nathan's Wedding - May 17, 2008

This couple picked a great date for their wedding, the weather was absolutely perfect. As a photographer, I know that good weather allows for good photos! After the elegant wedding, the wedding party followed me downtown in a limo to take some fun pictures on the square. The rest of the evening was a fun family party with plenty of great food and dancing. I could not resist from sampling the food once the groom offered me a seat. Congratulations Kelly and Nathan and thank you again for using us and of course for the cake!

Kyle & Trisha's Engagement Session

I had a blast working with Trisha and Kyle tonight. We had the chance to get to know each other which is always a plus when photographing a couple's wedding later in the year. As you can see in the photos, I spent alot of time climbing trees and laying on the ground to get the angle I needed and they spent alot of time making silly faces and kissing. Kyle and Trisha, you were both very fun to photograph and I can not wait to photograph your wedding!

Bryan & Jennifer - May 10, 2008

The union of Bryan and Jennifer was not only filled with tears of joy but also filled with happy celebration! I have never seen a group that could get down and party like this one. Even though there were a few major storms going through Springfield, they were able to stay focused on their big day and truly enjoy it. Congrats to you both and I hope you enjoy your photos!

The Messenger Family

We did a shoot for some good friends yesterday at the park. They live in Branson and always get us some great tickets to shows and parks so it was time to return the favor. They wanted to get all the kids together from both sides of the family to get group pics for their mom's. Everything went great and we got just what they wanted. Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there!

The Kopsas Family

Today's shoot went perfectly. Lyla was an angel and smiled like a pro. Within the first 5 minutes I was able to get the family pictures that I needed which meant 55 minutes devoted to Lyla striking a pose! They were a beautiful family and will definitely make it to the website.

Eric and Becky - May 3, 2008

May 3rd brought us to a lovely wedding at Antioch Methodist for Becky and Eric. The wedding decor was perfect for Spring, completed with daisies and the color yellow. Becky and Eric love going to their special place, Fellows Lake, and it proved to be the perfect setting for some great outdoor pictures after their ceremony. They enjoyed sharing sweet glances and little smooches during their day, and their happiness with one another really shines through into their photos. Congratulations and have a blast at Big Cedar!

Cohen Heath at 18 months!

Today we got to work with little Cohen Heath, for his 18 month old portraits. Cohen is always a delight and such a ham for the camera. Mom, Kellie had him dressed in such a cute little prep school outfit, he looks like he walked straight out of baby Gap. Between yummy lollipops, strawberries, and apples he munched away as I shot, and all in all I got some great images. Thanks Ian and Kellie, and of course, Cohen for yet another successful shoot!
