Josh and Karen's big day, March 29th

Well, we loved Karen and Josh from their first consultation. Their wedding was an absolute blast for David and I. They are the most easy-going couple and their day was so special with such a personalized touch. Karen's bouquet was one of the most beautiful I had ever seen! Josh's Nebraska Cornhuskers would have been proud to see all the red accents in their honor. The reception was so spirited and filled with such special family moments. Thanks for choosing David and I to capture such an important day in your lives!

411 Interview for FOX

Tuesday I received an amazing call. Jeremy Stevens from KSFX-FOX27 was working on a story for the local 411 about senior photography in the Ozarks. He saw a bulletin that I had posted on Myspace about a recent senior session and thought that my images were cutting edge and unique and wanted to feature D Coleman Photography! Of course, I calmly said yes and we scheduled the taping for today. I was very nervous but Sarah helped me to relax during the interview and it went great! After the interview they shot footage of me showing proofs to Claire, the senior, and then taking photos of her outside. It was too cool!! The piece will air on FOX27 on Tuesday, April 8th at 9pm. I was deeply honored to be considered for this unique opportunity and want to thank Jeremy personally for choosing me.

Charity and Chris

All I can say about this couple is WOW!! They were so awesome! They were willing to do anything I wanted. I was there for their private ceremony and after they kissed and got halfway down the aisle,they asked me "what do you want to do now?" As a photographer, you only dream of having a couple give you the freedom to capture their memories in any way you want. It was a pleasure to be a part of your special day. Sarah was honored to sign as your witness and we both hope you have a wonderful first year as man and wife!

Claire's Senior Portraits

Wow, it was a little chilly out, but Claire and her mom were great sports! We started quickly with some fun textured shots and then moved on to the park. Claire was great at posing and had no problem smiling for us. It's always fun to do senior portraits and watch the mom look on with pride. We had fun taking your photos and cannot wait to show you the rest!

Knowles-Metcalf Wedding March 15, 2008

Shelby Knowles made the perfect choice on the location of her March wedding, indoors at the Chateau on the Lake. Even though it was cold outside, the warmth felt in this intimate ceremony was overwhelming. Matt and Shelby are a beautiful couple and adding their daughter Presley, make a wonderful family. The pastor was a little late which gave the groom and the groomsmen a chance to watch the final 2 minutes of the Kansas game. Kansas won which gave the cue for a happy bride to walk down the aisle. Congratulations on your new endeavor and I hope you enjoy your honeymoon!
